United Black Agenda

The United Black Agenda 501(c)(3) is an invitation-only coalition of Black-led organizations throughout the State, including the original founding members, Fair Share Housing Center, Monarch Housing Resources, NAACP New Jersey State Conference, Association of Black Women Lawyers of New Jersey, Salvation and Social Justice, New Jersey Institute For Social Justice, and New Jersey Black Issues Convention as well as newly-invited members, African American Chamber of Commerce, Alpha Phi Alpha, and the Urban League of Essex County. The United Black Agenda, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation with an application pending before the Internal Revenue Service for recognition as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization. Upon such recognition, which is subject to the Internal Revenue Service’s discretion, your donation may be tax deductible to the extent the law provides under IRC §170(c). Please check with your personal tax advisor regarding the deduction of your gift.

UBA Action Fund

Meanwhile, the United Black Agenda Action Fund 501(c)4 is comprised of individuals and was created by founding members,Fair Share Housing Center, Monarch Housing Resources, NAACP New Jersey State Conference, Association of Black Women Lawyers of New Jersey, Salvation and Social Justice, New Jersey Institute For Social Justice, and New Jersey Black Issues Convention. The UBA Action Fund is open to membership by any individual who wants to advance and raise up Black New Jerseyans. To support the work of the 501(c)4 or to learn more about membership, click here.

The United Black Agenda Action Fund is a not-for-profit corporation organized under Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code as a social-welfare organization. A contribution to the United Black Agenda Action Fund is not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution or as a business expense under the law.
